Bulk Material Handling & Industrial Systems — Milwaukee Metal Fabrication

Fabricated Conveyors, Hoppers and Assemblies for Material Handling Systems

Long conveyor structures, hoppers, transfer tanks and equipment frames for systems that move material continuously — built to the drawing and sequenced to hold alignment at length.

What We Build in This Market

What We Build for Bulk Material Handling and Industrial Systems

Long conveyor structures, hoppers, transfer tanks and equipment frames for systems that move material continuously — built to the drawing and sequenced to hold alignment at length.

Telescoping Conveyor Structures

Long truss and rail weldments where sections nest and extend, and alignment has to hold across the full travel.

Transfer Tanks & Material Handling Weldments

Tanks, hoppers and handling weldments fabricated to drawing, including abrasion-resistant plate where the material demands it.

Custom Equipment Frames & Assemblies

Frames and mechanical assemblies that carry the system, built as complete scope rather than individual cut or formed parts.

Built for These Jobs

Scale and Process Control for Material Handling Work

Capacity & Equipment

Parts and structures to 20,000 lb, lengths to 60 feet, certified welders across all major processes, and on-site CNC machining for mounting faces and critical tolerances.

Full fabrication capabilities

Finishing & Full Assembly

Full assembly completed in-house. We offer sandblasting, painting, powder coating, plating, and galvanizing, so equipment leaves ready for the field.

Why CEF

Built for Long Structures and Changing Requirements

Medium to large parts and mechanical assemblies where cutting, forming, welding, machining, and finishing all have to come together on one program.

Ready to Work Together

Have a Conveyor, Hopper or Frame That Needs a Reliable Fabricator?

Send us your drawing or job description. We’ll review it and give you a straight answer on fit and timeline.

DXF, DWG, PDF, SolidWorks, STEP — all accepted. Response within one business day.

Before You Send a Drawing

A few useful answers.

Questions we hear from engineers and procurement managers evaluating CEF for conveyor, hopper and material handling work. If yours isn’t here, send the drawing and ask — we answer every submission within one business day.

Single weldments run to 60 feet and 20,000 lb on our floor. Longer systems are built in sections and assembled — a telescopic conveyor we fabricated runs 150 feet at extended length, 800 welded steel components and 30,000 pounds combined. Send the overall dimensions and we will tell you how it would be broken up.

Mostly sequencing and fixturing rather than any single machine. We plan the weld sequence to balance heat input along the structure, fixture to hold datum through welding, and check alignment as the work progresses rather than only at the end. On a telescoping section where nesting has to work across the full travel, that discipline is what keeps it in tolerance.

Yes, along with armor plate, manganese, heavy plate and high-alloy steel. Our oxy-fuel flame table cuts steel to 6 inches thick for the heaviest sections. Include the grade and thickness with your drawing so we can plan the cutting process around it.

It depends on material availability, the processes the part needs, quantity and current shop loading, so we quote timing with the price rather than publishing a number we would have to qualify. Send the drawing with your target date and we will tell you whether it is achievable.
